Heli Fishing (Single or Multi Day Trips Available)

This trip is one of the best ways to experience New Zealand fly fishing at its very best.  With the use of a helicopter we fly to some of New Zealands most pristine and secluded rivers with a backdrop of ancient native forest.  The rivers are gin clear and full fo wild trout eager to rise to a dry fly or lightly weighted nymphs.

These trips are available for a single day or for a night or more in riverside huts to make the most of these spectacular wilderness rivers.

The cost of these trips are our daily guiding fee, $610 NZD, plus the cost of the helicopter flight, $1000 to $1900 NZD, depending on flight time and chosen destination.  On the multi day trips there is an extra charge for food, $100 NZD per day, and satellite phone hire, $28 NZD per day, as we will be in a very remote area so this is our only means of communication incase of an emergency.

Trips include guiding and tuition, all fishing equipment, flies, all camping equipment and food for multi day trips, picnic lunch and refreshments for single day trips, transport from your accommodation to the heli port.

The Price for this trip ranges from $1,640 - $3,500
